In the World Press Freedom Day, on 3rd of May, the Department of Communication Sciences started the exhibition "The Albanian transition in the headlines".

Rector of the University "Yildiz Technical" of Istanbul  Prof. Dr. Ismail Yuksek, conducted a working visit to the “Hëna  e Plotë” (Bedër)University. He was hosted by the rector, Dr. Ferdinand Gjana and senior staff of the university.

On the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, the Department of Communication Sciences at “Hëna  e Plotë” (Bedër) University , in cooperation with the Albanian Union of Journalists and the Albanian Institute of Media organized a workshop with topic "Albanian local media facing technological challenges and the reality of time".
