Prof. Dr. Gjergj Sinaniwas born on January 14, 1957, in the city of Elbasan. He graduated from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences, in 1981. Immediately after completing his university studies, as an outstanding student, he began working as a lecturer at the Faculty of Political and Legal Sciences in 1982.
Prof. Sinani completed his doctoral studies at the University of Tirana in 1989 and subsequently pursued postgraduate studies (DEA) at the "Paul Valery" University, Montpellier III in France, in 1993.
From 2004 to 2008 and 2010 to 2014, he served as an independent expert for two terms on the Advisory Committee for the Protection of Minorities at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
Prof. Dr. Gjergji Sinani is the author of several textbooks for secondary schools, various publications, and translations, as well as a participant and lecturer in numerous research and publishing activities at a range of national and international conferences.
Prof. Sinani is a professor of Philosophy and contributes to teaching as a lecturer at Bedër University College, the University of Tirana, the University of Korça, Epoka University, among others. He is also an external expert at ASCAL for the accreditation of numerous programs at various universities in the country.
