Tirana International Airport 'Mother Teresa' is only 30 minutes away from the city. It is served by many European airlines such as British Airways, Alitalia, Lufthansa, Austrian, as well as low-cost airlines like Germanwings, Turkish Airlines, and Pegasus. A new, larger, and more modern terminal opened in 2007. You can reach the city by taxi or by bus, such as 'Rinas Express,' which takes you directly to Tirana.
Accommodation
Bedër University College does not offer accommodation for incoming students. However, there are many rooms and apartments available for rent in Tirana. The average price for a 1+1 apartment (1 bedroom, 1 living room) either furnished or partially furnished ranges from $150 to about $250. You can share with others to split the rent expenses. For more extensive accommodation, higher rates may apply. Regarding living expenses, you will need about $150 per month for food and other personal expenses.

Money
The currency used in Albania is the Lek. Hundreds of new ATMs have been installed in most major cities. Use the MasterCard ATM Locator or Visa ATM Locator to find them. ATMs accept most international VISA and MasterCard cards. Most small shops in rural areas do not accept other payment methods besides cash (Albanian Lek). However, supermarkets, better bookstores, and higher-end shops accept credit or debit cards. Note that Albania is not part of the European Union, and euros are not accepted here. However, ATMs and credit cards are widely accepted. The most accepted cards are VISA and MasterCard. Students can also convert funds through financial institutions for direct payments.
Health
It is better to drink bottled water, but tap water is usually drinkable as well. Food in Albania is generally healthy wherever you go in the country.
Safety
Bedër University College provides security services for staff and students on campus and in all facilities associated with the institution. Security outside the institution is generally good.
Transportation
In Albania, you can travel by bus, minibus, or taxi. The rail network is almost non-existent. Most people in Albania use buses to travel within the city and between cities.
