“Hëna e Plotë” (Bedër) University concluded the Accreditation Process

 

Beder  University concluded the Accreditation Process. After a long work ,started from a year now with the signing of order nr.223  on 4.6.2013 from Ministry of Education and Science ,Mr. Myqerem Tafaj ,according to the decision of Accreditation Council , nr.469 ,on  3.5.2013, the university  has been provided with the institutional accreditation and in the same way accreditation of 15 study  Bachelor and Master Programs.

 

The process started by the formation of Interior  Self-Assessment Group ,which led the whole accreditation process.After the preparation and submission  of institutional self-assessment reports and each program reports, Accreditation  Public Agency  of Higher Education formed external expert group. External experts assessed the submitted information of  inner assessment reports and then gave the conclusions related to the fulfillment of required standards for accreditation process  to APAAL  .After that ,Accreditation Council next to the agency decided the institutional accreditation and accreditation of 15 programs offered by the university.

 

This is an important step in the consolidation of this institution of higher education ,as like the certification of high standards that it offers.

 

What is the process of accreditation ?

 

The process of accreditation is a process through which a governing,non-governing or a public institution estimates the quality of a higher education institution ,entirely or a specific program of it, in order to officially launch the fulfillment of minimal quality standards. The conclusion of this process is a status of recognition (conditional or yes/no decision ) or a license  to operate  within a period of time .
