Law Department Students Organize Bedër Moot Court

“Bedër Law Academy” Club of Law Department in Bedër University organized for the fifth consecutive year the Moot Court with bachelor program students.

The case of this year was concerning the criminal offense provided by article 283 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Albania "Manufacturing and selling narcotics" committed in accomplice.

During the court session improvised by students, prosecution body made the submissions highlighting the relevant written evidence and call of the witnesses who further clarified the circumstances of the event.

Meanwhile the defense acclaimed the innocence of the defendants relying on the written evidence as well as medical expertise.

In conclusion, the court accepted the request of the prosecution for two of the defendants under the relevant article and found the minor defendant not guilty.

This event, already a tradition for the students of this department, was organized in the presence of a considerable number of students and professors.
