    Program Overview

    The Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive intellectual and professional education, presenting a wide array of concepts and perspectives in the fields of media and communication, public relations, and marketing communication. The program aims to offer students an intellectual horizon by introducing a diversity of concepts and perspectives in these areas.

    Mission of the Program

    The mission of the Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program is fully aligned with the overall mission of Bedër University College and international standards, as well as with the innovations this institution aims to bring to our country and beyond.

    The mission of the Department of Communication Sciences in the Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program is to prepare qualified individuals in the fields of communication, public relations, marketing communication, and media relations, through an educational philosophy rooted in universal values, and supporting scientific research to implement ideas and projects that improve human life and society, all in continuous alignment with the development of contemporary technologies.

    Vision of the Program

    The Department of Communication Sciences, through the Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program, aims to introduce innovations in the way students are trained by combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience in modern physical conditions and opportunities.

    Through this program and scientific research, the department aims to prepare professionals equipped for the job market in a global society with rapid advancements in modern technologies affecting the fields of communication, media, public relations, and marketing communication.

    Objectives and Professional Competencies of the Program

    By presenting students with comprehensive programs covering all necessary knowledge for a thorough professional preparation in media and communication, public relations, and marketing communication, the department firmly upholds its mission to prepare professionals skilled in ethical and professional standards, and in the scientific analysis of facts and situations. This is achieved by providing students with a broad, contemporary pluralistic cultural perspective on thinking and conceptualizing situations and events.

    As a department based on professional demands and with the aim of preparing professionals for a democratic society and contemporary media and technological development, we strive to fulfill our mission by helping students develop critical thinking skills, clear communication, an understanding of the ethical dimensions of their decisions, and an awareness of the role and importance of information dissemination in the media of a free society, as well as the particular importance of communication, public relations, and marketing communication within public and private institutions.

    Through a curriculum based on the traditions of prominent universities in this field, the Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program aims to develop a broad understanding of theories and practices in communication, focusing on public relations and marketing communication.

    The program aims to equip students with the necessary skills to continue their studies in subsequent cycles, whether they are research-scientific or professional in nature.

    By combining theory with practice, the program seeks to prepare students with both theoretical and practical skills, ready to face the conditions of an open global market in the fields of public relations, marketing communication, general communication, and their relations with the media.

    Program Outcomes

    Upon completion of the Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing Communication program, students will be able to:

    • Identify, compare, and interpret fundamental concepts in communication, marketing, and public relations.

    • Understand, develop, and apply knowledge acquired in public communication.

    • Define and use basic terminology and key concepts in marketing.

    • Understand the basics of marketing planning and identify the key elements of a marketing plan.

    • Describe the elements of marketing mix and analyze how these elements are integrated into marketing strategies.

    • Evaluate the impact of marketing mix strategies on an organization's ability to compete in the market.

    • Develop and implement marketing plans, including tactical decisions related to product, price, distribution, and promotion to meet consumer needs.

    • Demonstrate basic skills in writing techniques for integrated communication across various media and create scenarios and materials for print, radio, television, social media, etc.

    • Apply critical analysis to evaluate advertising campaigns and assess their effectiveness based on organizational objectives.

    • Develop basic knowledge in digital marketing and PR, utilizing new communication tools and methods across various new media platforms.

    • Demonstrate basic skills in digital marketing techniques and apply knowledge to social media platforms, identifying key elements and tools used in digital campaigns.

    • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing study concepts and methods and develop effective digital marketing and PR strategies for various companies and organizations.

    • Develop the ability to work effectively in groups to achieve common goals.

    Employment Opportunities

    • Graduates may work as specialists in public relations or marketing communication in private or public institutions, local or international organizations, etc.

    • Graduates may work in communication offices of public or private institutions, various local or international organizations, etc.

    • Graduates of this program may work as communication consultants for individuals or leaders of various institutions/organizations.

    • Graduates may work in various advertising, media, public relations agencies, or in communication consulting.
